Welcome to Stoic Canine! I offer a variety of training opportunities to suit your needs as the owner, as well as the holistic well-being of the dog through structure, wilful obedience, and a positive environment. Whether you have a new puppy that needs to establish a solid foundation, a rescue or anything in between; we can discuss your needs and decide what is the right path for you and your companion.
I provide a very safe and secure environment for your dog to learn and grow, and essentially make it part of my family for the duration of its stay. I also provide any assistance to you as the owner long after my training has ended to ensure the training endures. I use all of the necessary tools and training aids to make your dog successful in the safest manner possible.
The key to a lasting relationship with your dog begins with a strong foundation of obedience; let us make your handler/dog TEAM a success!

A lot of emphasis is put on structure; it is very important to establish a routine early on in the dogs life with regard to kenneling, playtime, etc. A lot of my training is done on/around a place board, which I will send home with the dog at the end of the session so you can continue to use this tool. For teaching the sit, down, or place, everything is done for duration, so if the dog is told to 'place' it should go to its place board and lay down/sit for as long as you would like, while you are cooking, etc.

Jared started Stoic Canine LLC in 2020. Before that he spent seven years as a Commissioned Officer in the United States Marine Corps as a Military Policeman, and has since pursued his passion of dog training.
Jared offers training for the everyday pet dog with a strong foundation of wilful basic obedience structure and teamwork.
Everything is conducted with transparency- so you can feel comfortable knowing your companion is in good hands.
